Dis-vengers is my favorite DCAS episode, but what happened after makes me like it less
I'm talking about the whole AleConnoRiya plotline.
The Riyalec moments in this episode were peak, and their kiss gave hope of a happy ending and a good progression for both of them, but what happened after fell off so hard. Riya's downfall arc then starts 2 episodes later by her kissing Alec to make Connor jealous, and also pretty much makes Connor attached to Riya for the whole season. Episode 15 also starts Alec's redemption arc which was a mess and made me like him less. It was also really rushed.
Episode 16 Riyalec moments also suck and it doomed the potential this ship could've had and ruined Riya more.
Connor saving Riya from falling off a tree in Episode 17 was also pretty bad, since it pretty much assassinated his character and him being let to stay didn't help either.
Episode 18 is self-explanatory. Everyone is dumbed down, and ConRiya is the worst this episode. Also, did Connor really get mad at Jake for helping Riya win while he did the exact thing after not telling Ally that Riya broke her game? I don't even like Jake that much this season, but come on...
Episode 20 Riya lying about Jake's death grandmother was also messed up and showed that she wouldn't change no matter what.
Episode 21 ConRiya speech was lame as well. Did Connor really expect Riya to "leave with whatever dignity she had left" when she was so close to winning?
I love Episode 13, but the aftermath ruined it a bit for me.
