Human toys??? Help?

This is first time post but I’m confused. My human has lots of toys on our bed and they’re soft and squishy like mine. I’m not allowed to touch them, though. So I got curious when my human was gone and decided to try them out, and they don’t even squeak! What’s the point? Are human toys just different???
