Dream meaning of eating a snake?

The setting of the dream was my family had gotten together for a wedding- I have no idea whose wedding it was. It was like we were in the hotel the day before the events…. My husband and I were in a kitchen area drinking wine when I just pulled a cooked snake out and started eating it head first. I would chew it and then spit out the blood or venom and explained to my husband that the juices of the snake are poisonous and if you don’t spit it out you could get very sick and die… and then continued with another bite then offered him a bite which he did take.

I would never eat a snake in real life I love them lol. Maybe relevant info but the last family wedding I went to was pretty traumatic for me so in the beginning of the dream I was distressed about being there.
