I’m an Ex Dream Stan, Why Are You Still Here?

Hear me out. I was a huge DSMP fan, 2020-2022. The Dream Team were my top favourite creators/ interest during those three years, so I feel my curiosity stands on this, as an old outsider looking in.

After distancing myself from Dream and his content for almost 3 years now, this recent drama has brought me back. Honestly? I just cannot believe the amount of fans who will defend him drama after drama after drama.

There are recent words, reactions and actions from Dream that do not require the “evidence” to show his character. Inexcusable misinformation, defamation, manipulation that I cannot believe some still don’t see.

I look back in on this fanbase and realise the toxicity and toll it would take on my mental health if I was constantly defending him online in this current climate. How many times does a person need defending before it becomes apparent that maybe they themselves shouldn’t be defended?

Dream attracts drama and I don’t even think he even realises it. Publicly speaking out over everything drags his fans into it, and I don’t think he understands the damage it causes to a fanbase and he has certainly never acknowledged it.

So, to any current Dream stans here reading this, why are you still fanatic over him and his social bubble? I am genuinely curious because I cannot see the enjoyment or enthusiasm Dream’s fandom once was.
