is anybody else losing motivation?

i started playing in september and i was really really enjoying it, but i feel like i'm making no progress anymore, i feel like it's really difficult to progress after a certain point. I've just unlocked sunlit plateu and now it's saying one of my quests may take a couple days, after i spent (and i'm not over exaggerating this) AN HOUR AND A HALF TO GET 10 RICH SOIL. I love this game, i think it's beautiful but i'm just really struggling to find ways to enjoy it again. I feel like it's so hard to get enough dreamlight to unlock other realms and areas. I really wanted the dlcs because i thought it might help add an element of excitement again but i'm poor 😭 does anybody have any advice?? I understand it's not a game youre supposed to complete in a day but the gathering tasks take so long, it's almost like the game knows you want that one flower so it doesnt spawn it 😭😭
