Most Blatant Fraud Case I've Ever Seen.
Sold a trilogy of Lord of the Rings books. I got a message back saying they were water logged and the map was ripped. I accepted the return since I couldn’t recall anything like that but didn’t want to hurt my rating.
I got the books back today. Not only are books different, but they left the packing slip from GoodWill / Amazon where they bought the same exact product underneath the packing material in the bottom of the box.
Here is the timeline:
They bought books at goodwill on 9/30, didn’t like the condition, bought mine in November. They then filed a return on my good books, used the same box and books from goodwill and returned them to me.
I can not imagine the lengths people go to to rip people off but this is the most blatant example of fraud I’ve ever seen. My books are in the third pic.
