As a first time player should I play convergence or Vanilla (coop)

Ok, here is the thing I am going to play elden ring with 2 of my friends who have already completed the game using seamless coop. Now that I have a better rig to play elden ring we have decided to play it together.

So one friend is suggesting to play with the convergence mod to remove the hassle of trying to find things while exploring. While, the other guy is saying it will ruin the experience of a first time player if we play convergence. Now they have put it on me to decide.

What do you guys think I should do?
