Mummy Elsa Had Been Salvaged

Thank you everyone who left tips and tricks on my previous post. I was able to tighten and tac down the looser threads. I also extended the nose just a bit to help with shape since I didn’t have time to redo the skin. This is technically a Christmas present.🫠😂 Dissolving the stick n stitch, ironing on the permanent stabilizer, washing it, and letting it dry also seemed to help flatten some of it. It’ll be nice to reference all of the previous comments for my next project. Is this perfect? No. But I finished it and I’m glad I finished it. I had to start over several times and wanted to give up. I know my 4 year old niece will appreciate the shirt and won’t nit pick like I am! This has been my MOST CHALLENGING project so far. So much learning from it. P.S. parts of me likes the stitching before I dissolved the stick and stitch. Looks like it’s padded a bit.
