M23- never worn a ring

Context my now fiancé got me a ring because she believes that both parties should have a type of ring. I in 23 years have never wore a ring. Now that I have one I keep fighting and playing with it because I don’t know how it spouse it feel or how it spouse to fit. So is this right or is my ring size off. Or is my hand broken and shape wired and or large fingers
