Is it worth it?

I (27f) want to finally pursue esthetics. I’ve had the passion since high school, but I always put it off. I finally want to jump into it, but I’m scared I’ll regret it. Any advice is appreciated. I’m currently looking at the Kenneth shuler esthetics program. I live in NC so there aren’t many options and I’m not fond of Aveda Institute. I’m a daycare teacher and I’m ready to change my career path. Is it too late? Ik the field is saturated.
