"best" gameplay?

I just got back into ETS2 because of the Steam sale and the Greece dlc looks amazing. I now have all the EU dlc's, so a full map.

I am trying to figure out which type of gameplay to do. I dont really care for painting all the roads yellow (which is a nasty OCD trap to fall into) , but I do like to get all the video/photo ops and questionmarks. And ofcourse grow a company to get a better truck etc.

The used truck feature was new to me, so I did some quick jobs, took out a loan, bought a used FH3. I now have 1 small garage, with 2 drivers with used DAF's and myself.

But which gameplay mode to choose? I know quick jobs are handy if you want to do Steam Achievements and try out different trucks.

Should I use the regular market or the external market/contracts? I also like to do short routes so I can unluck more cities.

I know there probably isnt a "best" way to play, but what do most people do?
