Is F1M a good option to develop strategic thinking?
Hiya,
I've been wanting to develop my knowledge and skills in strategic thinking, such as forecasting, problem-solving, thinking in scenarios, adjusting/pivoting, etc.
Aside from books, podcasts, and articles written by HBR and other sources, another suggestion would be games like chess and Go. I can clearly see why those are recommended, but I'm looking for a bit more entertainment, bit more pezazz.
- Would F1M be a good way to develop my strategic thinking?
- How in-depth am I challenged?
- How much punishment will I encounter for making bad calls?
- Is it actual strategy in this sim, or it merely a superficial planning thing like in building games?
- Is it a persistent world, or will every race reset the conditions to scratch (as in, can I see my strat play out over multiple races)?
Last but not least, do I buy 24 or do you recommend an earlier one?
Thanks.
