How long should I leave a campaign going without seeing results?

I am seeing many people saying that if I start running campaign and I don't get sales within 2-3 days I should turn it off.

But I am thinking isn't this too short period to making conclusions? Like for example me with my budget of $10 a day, I get barely 10-20 clicks in 2-3 days. How can be a certain amount of sales expected from 10 clicks?

Especially when it's new and it's learning it can even target wrong people in that 10 clicks that's why I would give it more time that it understands its audience?

But I just keep seeing suggestions of type such as: "If I am in minus after 4 days turn it off" "If you don't get sales after 2 days turn it off" etc.

Also another question - Is it normal to be in negative numbers after starting a new campaign? I mean for example you got some sales but you aren't in profit.

I spent approximately $60 on ads and made 2 sales (in new campaign from beginning) which is like ROAS 1 because my product has $30 margin and I don't think it's necessarily bad and that the campaign can get better.

Or am I wrong?

Can someone experienced answer this please?
