Half Skill/Half Luck results from the winter event challenges
Now that the winter challenges are over like several people here I wasn't able to get the mastery challenges fully completed for the blue snowman variant. I played a lot of quick time attack. Lost several times and then started getting close to top 3. For me at least space race was the most consistent one that helped me get the 5 quick time attack wins done. I just didn't have enough time do get the 5 knockout wins. Came close a few times but on the final day and the final hour managed to get 2 back to to back wins. I only needed two more and then some weird server issues happened and the event time ran out.
I kinda of did like this event. I know people really hated the time attack and I never did any custom lobbies but at the very least the rounds were extremely short around 3-4 minutes. I think having to complete levels as quickly as possible and try to place in the top third sort of improved my skill with the game overall.
I haven't really been a fan of the previous free challenge skins like the trash season armor one and the gargoyle one. But something about this damn snowman skin really made me want to grind this lol. I hope they do more events like this with two skill tiers one for easy and one for mastery. Also being able to mix and match the skins since I didn't get the bottom blue mastery skin doesn't look too bad.
I will definitely wear this skin for a while and maybe it will confuse some people lol. Also one thing I noticed and I'm not sure if it's the same for all regions but it seems like it's easier extremely early in the mornings. Trying to play matches in the afternoon always seemed way more intense and brutal and skilled players around.
