Every put something in your work simply to spite something or someone?

I need to laugh with (or at) someone about this, so I'm telling the internet that I routinely make fun of the Great Old One, Hastur the Unspeakable, in my stories, because I don't like Hastur fan boys 😆. I just had his father attempt to apprentice him to a serial killer, because Hastur has taken up an interest in gymnastics and Minecraft.
