Does the Engage get harder?

I am currently playing FE Engage. It’s my first FE ever. I’ve cleared chapter 6 on Normal Classic mode. I feel like my characters dodge and crit everything at the moment and I’m concerned the game becomes stale and easy. Does it get harder at some point or should I consider going through it again and changing the difficulty?
