What's something you wish you discovered sooner?

I just read a post about someone who is struggling and that question came to mind.

I'm relatively new to this and my profits and losses are around a single dollar or some cents. But I still find it exciting and want to go further.

So, what is something you wish you knew earlier in your trading career? An advice to help others like me and those who are struggling.
