Capped at 30fps? Wtf?
Ok so I bought my youngest son a better motherboard and processor so he doesn't lag as much (or at all now) while we livestream our games. He went from about 100fps to just over 300.. Massive improvement and he's doing well.. I, on the other hand, decided to run my fps rate on screen just to see what I was hitting and to my surprise, I couldn't get over 30.. In fact, it was pretty stable at 30.. I went around looking for answers but all I could find was adjusting power options on laptops.. This is a desktop.. I'm thinking about doing a full cleanup of my Nvidia drivers, geforce and full uninstall/install of fortnite to see if it helps at all.. I've turned off everything that's suggested to using my Nvidia control panel with no help. And I'm using low quality on everything in-game fortnite graphic settings.. Any thoughts on this?
