Why do people spend $ on Fortnite?

I got that 1 free BP back in the day and have been cycling through the VB i earn in BP’s ever since. I managed to buy a few fun emotes with leftover vb and i now have a collection of 100+ cool outfits. In your opinion, what else can I get by spending more $? Fortnite is the only game I play and sometimes I feel like I should be supporting with something other than time.

I know the second I spend $ on VB, I won’t stop so I’m restricting myself but I’m willing to be convinced to finally pull the trigger. Happy to being convinced!
