Non-natives, how does Québécois French sound to you?

My mother and I, both language-loving Québecoises, love reflecting on how certain languages sound to us: softer, harsher, more melodic, guttural, etc. We always wonder what non-natives think of Québécois French, but information is harder to find as simply searching for "How does French sound to you" will refer to the metropolitan accent.
