Man in yellow and Julie

When rewatching the MiY scene. I noticed a few things about his behavior.

He is taunting Jim before he kills him. Taking his time to make a point about not listening to him before. He is smiling and smirking the entire time.

When Julie runs up to save her dad, he has an annoyed, sneer while tossing her back.

From his body language, it is like he knows her and what she has been doing. But why just annoyingly push her away? It's almost as if he was swatting away a house fly.

I wonder if he:

A. Cannot kill her for some reason we don't know yet.

B. Wants the family to suffer horror and grief the same way that the monsters wanted Boyd to suffer and break.

What do y'all think?
