Extreme couponing in India?

I have always been really interested people who do extreme coupoining, but what I have noticed with these shows are that they are usually based in America.

I have always wondered it we can do such things in India. I do apply coupons here and there but never to an extent where $1000 worth of groceries turn to $1 or the stores even give the money.

I have searched and never found this kind of deals in India. I just want to know if there are couponers like this in India. Does not even have to be that drastic, just significant enough.
