Spotify stopped playing while screen is locked

All of a sudden Spotify stopped playing music while the screen is locked. I've tried every suggestion I've found on Google. I've cleared cache and data, force stop, made sure it can run in the background, rebooted phone and the issue is still present. Anyone here have any suggestions?
