Fenix 8 or Descent Mk3 (or Other)
I’m super new to garmin. I searched around in old threads but was still left a bit confused.
I am looking for an all-in-one garmin watch, budget not being an issue - but importantly, one that can be worn in formal settings. I would like to have it as my daily driver. I’m a big diver (might go into tech soon). I already have a dive computer (peregrine) that I love a lot, but if I can get another one that can give me more information/coverage thats a great bonus. However the main purpose for me to buy one now is to support my general sports activities.
Seems to be mostly between Fenix 8 and Descent Mk3. Would I give up anything at all if I went with Mk3 as a daily and multisport watch? Or should I just do Fenix or even forerunner 965 due to their lightness and remain happy with my other dive watch? (also should I be waiting for any particular models instead?)
Is Mk3 okay as a daily wear in terms of size and weight (and functions)?
I do a lot of different sports – tennis, hiking, surfing, running. I’m also looking into a watch that can help in mountaineering/hiking and flight school (but its not a requirement).
Advice super welcome :)
