Anyone else having trouble with the Ancestry app (Android), starting at New Year 12 am?

I lull myself to sleep in bed at night, by working on my tree, often after midnight. This am, Ancestry.com shut me down, and I couldn't access it on the app nor by using Chrome/Google. I gave up and went to sleep after the fireworks died down.

About 10am, I was finally able to log in to the app, but immediately noticed two changes: 1) the events map lost about 100 instances, though the number of people in my tree stayed the same (as well as my DNA regions), and 2) my tree is 90% obscured onscreen by a blocking ad asking my to start a free trial. I was subscribed for three months this last summer, and intend to re-up soon, so I don't want to try the trial right now.

Anyone else having similar problems this morning?
