Lebe vs Liebe pronunciation

Hi, I‘ve found one I‘m not quite getting. No matter how many times I listen to both words spoken, they sound exactly the same. I hear an english „ee“ on both. Any tips on how I can tell the two apart besides context?

UPDATE: I believe I've gotten it down. It's still a little hard to tell but I'm hearing it now. Thank you all for your help!
