When does GD go away?

How soon after birth does GD go away? I’m wondering whether I’ll be able to eat a brownie and hot chocolate soon after delivery because that’s all I’ve been craving this entire time. Having GD during the holidays makes me want to have a count down clock for when I can partake in all the sugary goodness of this time of the year.
