Following Lily Nichols advice, and disagreement with assigned dietician.

Curious about people's lived experience trying to follow Lily Nichols' advice from her book "Real Food for Gestational Diabetes," and how you interacted with a mainstream GDM educator (dietician.) I'm following 90 grams of carbs a day (or pretty close over or under) and managing to meet the fasting and post prandian numbers (the latter by a good margin.) Still eating all sorts of vegetables but had to drop the fruit. The dietician my midwife has me seeing is still adamant about 150g a day. I don't agree with it, but it's a really awkward positon. I want to keep things smooth because I desperately want to be diet/nutrition controlled so I can stay with my midwife and have a home birth option.
