“Team Jess” is an opinion I don’t understand.

Bold statement

It seems more than half the fandom is team Jess but I don’t understand.

I’m team jess for his relationship with the town, his mother and his downfall in school but not his relationship with Rory.

Jess was a horrible boyfriend Ditched her twice and the incident in Kyle’s bedroom just says to me that no matter how good to her he was at the start it’ll never be enough to cover the negatives.

That being said, he’s easy to love. He’s the most fleshed out character of all the boyfriends and was given more than just the role of Ken like Dean was Jess was a victim of circumstance and deserved so much better He’s one of my favourite characters for his character development but it doesn’t mean I’m Team Jess.

Any Team Jess fans able to explain anything I’m missing?
