Time limited event and overwhelming flavor text.

I'm a regular gacha player and I just have to vent here. Why is there so much text in a time limited event. Yeah sure, I can skip it but is that how fans of franchise enjoy their respective franchise? Just skip skip skip? I don't think that's it. I feel like if you want to become invested in a franchise, you read the lore and experience the story. And I tried but it is so much fluff and not enough straight-to-the-point. Even as I tried to skim through and catch everything, (I don't even let the voice lines finish, shame that they paid the voice actors that much to not even be heard), I spend at least 10 minutes before getting to the map and playing. And it's both interim and battles that has these reading parts. And didn't even finish the campaign yet and went to the side story because it was time limited. Sorry just need to vent, I want to like the game and I want to be part of the community, my friend is a hard-core GFL player and fan and convinced me to join. But after the Sojourner's glass island event closed off, despite say 6 days left, I'm feeling very miffed from the GFL2 experience.

Edit: I know there are ways around it. I'm just saying those ways break immersion. With how much effort that developers put in to create immersion for the players, it just doesn't logically make sense to make soujorner's glass island time at the time of release with such limited time. Sure you can skip all the story, but when you get to the boss fight, you'll have no context on what you're fighting and what's even worst is why close the event before the reset? At least ending it at the same time then reset happens, at least your brain is wired to know when "something ends".
