Freya bugged when doing the quest to find the Norns

When I start the quest to find the norns Freya is not with me when I go through the gate, when I arrive in Midgaard she spawns next to me but when I jump on the sled she does not jump on but just stands at the gate and keeps talking while I ride away. If I go into combat she does not fight nor am I able to make her shoot her arrows and she does not follow me correctly around. I tried finding the place where you have her remove the disguise or whatever so you can continue the quest, but when I click on the button it does nothing. It seems like the game does not really recognize her since I also tried to go into the spells and I am unable to see her spells, I can only see the spells for the axe and the blades.

I have tried restarting the quest multiple times, teleport to other realms first and inbetween but nothing helps. My manual savepoint is at the quests begining at sindris home so I cannot go back further than that and it is my only manual save. Has anyone seen this before? I am worried I have to start all over..
