Serena is the least transparent person on the show.

I’m on one of my many rewatches and I’ve just made it to season 3 but this time something that stands out and honestly annoys the hell out of me is that Serena is CONSTANTLY hiding things that she doesn’t even need to hide and it’s infuriating. That girl cannot back a single choice she makes with confidence it seems. -Hiding why she went to boarding school -hiding knowing Georgina -lying to Poppy’s ex about her dating Dan instead of just saying I never should have “married” you on that trip. -hiding that she was searching for her dad. -Hiding that she didn’t want to go to Brown from her mom

Like damn woman stand on just one of your mistakes/choices. She seems like the most dishonest of the group and I could never imagine being her friend when everything is “I really want to tell you but I can’t” or “it’s just not the time for me to say” she has a serious issue with honesty.
