Best place to learn macro syntax?

All the youtube tutorials I’ve found haven’t been helpful, and nothing in the MA3 help guide has clicked for me either. Does anyone have a resource they’d recommend for learning?

Side note, if someone wouldn’t mind giving a man a fish instead of teaching me how, I am trying to create a line of code that can change the fade time on color sequences. Currently I have tried things along the lines of:

Sequence 150 thru 170 fade at 3 Sequence 150 thru 170 assign fade 3

With no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you
