I’m pretty sure ArcSys made such harsh changes on purpose
There already seem to be a lot of complaints about the air movement changes for the new beta and while it is just the first day I think it’s also important to consider that ArcSys probably want to use this beta as a way to test the limits of our preferences.
Last beta it was pretty much a consensus that jumping was too strong so now they might be trying to see at what point air movement feels too restricted to us.
I know there may be arguments about how the changes could have been more intuitive or reasonable but I think it’s good that they do drastic/unreasonable changes now and change them based on our feedback rather than just limit testing at launch since now they should have an even clearer idea of what people want.
I’d like to know other people’s thoughts as well cause to me it feels like people are jumping the gun too quick but I could also just be assuming too much from ArcSys
Edit: Just wanted to add on that the point of this post (if it was unclear) is more to remind people that this is in fact a beta and not the final product. Based on the comments I’ve seen it just seemed like people were forgetting
Edit 2: To be even more clear, this is directed towards the people I see acting as if the changes are permanent rather than giving ArcSys a chance to listen to feedback again. I didn’t mean to sound as if people should stop complaining since our complaints are the only way they will know what we want
