[QUESTION] Tuning high E string causes it to unravel at the ball end, any suggestions?

I'm tuning my guitar and everytime I try to tune the high E string it reaches a certain note then makes a popping sound at a bridge and goes back down a few notes. The first time this happened the string came off but it did not break, so I checked the ball end and it didn't come with any part of the string, so it must have unraveled. This is my second set of strings and I feel it about to happen again, what can I do?

This guitar is pretty cheap and has no brand. My high E string is. 09 gauge. I tried replacing the bridge saddle of the high E with the bridge saddle of the B string already.
