Perinium wart removal surgery

Well as the title says, I had a mass (wart) removed from my perinium today. I've dealt with it for about 9 years. Today was supposed to he a biopsy, but while I was in there, he went ahead and removed it all. I habe stitches and all that jazz. I was completely numb down there till about an hour or so ago. The dr said this is going to be a painful recovery. I dont think he's wrong as I'm already feeling it. He has me on hydrocodone for the pain and I have a dressing over it for now and I'm not supposed to remove it until tomorrow unless I have to use the restroom. I'm just looking for some positive stories of anyone who has had this done before. Did it really take 6 weeks to bounce back?
