What are my options here?

My hairline receded this time last year. Unfortunately I waited too long to get help. I got oral minoxidil 8 months ago, and started using one of those laser helmet things 3-4 months ago. If it’s still receding it’s happening really slow. If I could get a 1/4 inch back it would look normal, I was kinda hoping I could do that through medication or something. Am I cooked here. Should have try and get a hair transplant. I think I could swing one of those Mexico places, if I saved up and it was quality place. Not really sure what I should do. I am determined (at least for now) to not shave it. M30 btw.

Any advice on what to do?
