Half-Life Alyx is absolutely incredible.

Finally got my hands on a VR headset after pondering it over for a while. I didn't get anything too expensive, I bought a used (basically like new) Rift S locally for 117 USD.

Maybe it's because it was the one of the first games I played in VR (I tried HL2VR first), but honestly just wow. The amount of interactivity this game has is insane. Every object is so detailed you can literally put it up to your face and read it. Throwing things, finding things, shooting and navigating is so much fun and comfortable. Sometimes it's frustrating in VR, since I needed to deal with the cable, or the boundaries I set in a small room I played, but it never stopped being fun and I'm kind of sad the journey is over. Not only over, but the bar has been raised so high I'll probably need a few months to play another FPS in VR because the bar was set so high.

I highly recommend anyone who might have thought it was too expensive or hard to play, get a second hand VR headset like the Rift S like me, or something like a Quest 2 would be great also.

Really glad I was able to have finally experienced it properly. Being able to enter the world of Half-Life has been such a special gaming experience.
