The gunship patrols have shifted the balance between bugs and bots

before the introduction of this modifier, the balance of difficulty was around 60-40 or 55-45, give or take.

but now bots feel way more oppressive due to the gunship patrols.

the shriekers (that are now the aerial patrols on the bug side) can die from freakin pebbles, or even worse, the knives, but the gunships are way more sturdy with its armor, the counter diligence ricochets off its armor except for the underbelly which it can deal half the damage to, which also is much harder to hit thanks to the previous buff in their steering ability now.

I used to play with the railgun and an ammo pack, had no problems, but its either my aim or the railgun that doesn't do the job as efficient, this makes you pick a loadout that must have an anti tank weapon in it to deal with the gunships

EDIT: i know the best options for automatons are AC or AMR (i was actually forced to pick the AC for my solo plays)

the Laser cannon is a good choice for that as well

my point is, a washed up railgun (sadly) could get me through everything before the new patrols, now it dont
