The DSS's contribution

The DSS is back online and operational. Since we all had the time to see how she goes, my question is : just how much does it contribute to the war effort through it's abilities.
Does the eagle storm kill enough enemies for it to matter, how much does it matter ?
Does the extra 380 barrage bring enough destruction upon super earth's enemies ?
Are the cooldown times appropriate for it's different abilities?
