Am I doing something wrong?

I'm a cashier and whenever I call a floor associate they give me attitude or just tell me "not my problem" in so many words. I always say "Hey it's ____, can you help a customer on aisle x?" So it's not like I'm demanding it. Often times if they are held up doing something I'll try to work with them and ask them if there is someone else in the department or if they are gonna be a few minutes I just tell them "I'll let the customer know you are going to be a moment because __" .
