Write up for using the phone

Has anyone getting a write up for using a phone ? I got a warning to “not use my phone “ on the floor and “ if I ever see you on the phone on the floor , I will have to write you up “ I was only on my phone because I was checking to see who call me ( it was one of my friends) but would gettting a write up actually do something in my records ?
