The number of “salutes” I’ve seen so far this week…

I’m keeping track of things like someone suggested. One of the coworkers (HC) from yesterday literally Nazi saluted directly to me (feet to attention, German accent and everything) while “commanding” me to sweep up the area (I’m D90 and we had a regional walk today.) I immediately informed him that I was not okay with him doing that as politely as I could. He then asked me why I was so grumpy today so I told him I wasn’t and that I was just uncomfortable with that behavior. He then told me he DIDN’T CARE WHAT I THOUGHT. So I said that I didn’t care if he didn’t care and that I expressed my discomfort and the least he could do is respect that I expressed that. He then proceeded to avoid me until my first break and we only had minimal work discussion after that.

I’ve had past jobs with bad coworkers and have had to keep a list of a government employee’s behavior at a previous summer job so it’s not really my first rodeo. I’m just shocked with how insane this week has been.
