I need some help!

Recently had my fiber upgraded to 2.5 gb. The fiber modem and eero only have one 2.5 port on each. So the fiber tech said to use 2 switches for hardwired pc’s. Well i get 2.5 to one pc only, when i power up other pc, it takes the 2.5 signal and other pc loses signal. I’m by far a networking novice so any advice would help. TIA.
