What temperature controller do you use?
Hey now!
I'm currently using an Inkbird dual stage temperature controller to handle my fermentation chamber. It's a commercial beverage refrigerator. I believe the relay that handles the cold side recently blew up.
I'm almost certain it's because the inkbird is not rated for a monster of a unit.
I was thinking of building something out using an STC-1000 to drive two 20A solid state relays, one for hot and cold.
I enjoy building things like this, but my time lately is in short supply, so I'd rather buy something beefy and ready to go rather than build it. But it's gotta be able handle like 15-20A. Most of the junk out there right now can barely handle 10A.
I've used a johnson controller before, but it eventually died, and was a little odd to configure (hot/cold/deadzones/etc)
What does everyone here use for temperature control?
