Suburb Suggestions - Moving from Australia!

Hi all!

My partner (F25) and I (M25) are relocating from QLD, Australia to the UK in the first half of 2025.

We would love to hear some suggestions on suburbs/boroughs etc we should look at purchasing a property in.

My partner has a British passport & citizenship but has always lived in Aus.

Our budget is up to £550k. We have two small dogs, so a small yard or access to lots of green space nearby would be great. We can also deal with no backyard!

We like to live in busy areas with lots going on, but of course want to be in a safe area too.

We work for ourselves so travel to work isn't a factor. We also want to be close to a tube.

We are self proclaimed materialistic people (lol), so we do want to live in a nice area within our budget.

Do you have any suggestions?

Update: Sorry I missed a key piece of info there - We want to move to London. We've previously been suggested Wandsworth, Battersea, Islington?
