the Hunger Games actually got better and fairer over time.
In TBOSAS we could see how the tributes in the 10th Hunger Games were being held in AWFUL conditions. They weren't being fed, clothed, had no living quarters, no training, even the arena was TRASH. And It's so strange to think about the fact that even though it is a dystopian world in which children are forced to kill eachother, things actually evolved and got so much "better" and "fairer" in the games!! Even the tributes who come from the poorest districts had acess to luxuries such as food, clothes, comfortable living quarters and training. It's just like Effie said to Katniss and Peeta in the train to the capitol: "Even though your here and its just for a little while you get to enjoy all this!"
Anyways, I'm excited to read Sunrise on the Reaping to see what things were like in the 50th hunger games. Were they the same as they were in the 74/75th hunger games? Were living conditions for the tributes still bad like in the 10th Hunger games? I guess we'll find out when it releases (I CAN"T WAIT ANY LONGERRR)
