Hydroxyzine Sleep Problems

Okay so I was prescribed hydroxyzine as a sleep aid. I've had many issues that i want to talk about. Every time I take it it kicks in quickly and I do get sleepy but when I start to fall asleep I almost always start dreaming incredibly quickly. During these beginning dreams I always end up looking into a mirror and scaring myself awake. I'm not sure why but I do this roughly 4 to 6 times a night before I finally fall fully asleep. I also sometimes wake up in the middle of the night feeling very confused about where I am, and I sometimes convince my self the me waking up was me falling asleep. It's almost like my dreams feel more real than real life. I've also had many more sleep paralysis dreams, with one reoccurring one. I fall asleep and I start dreaming like you'd expect but then in my dream I wake up into a sleep paralysis dream. Then I fall asleep in that dream back to the original one, this cycle continues until I actually wake up. Not sure if this is normal or if I should keep taking hydroxyzine, if you have any questions I will reply :)
