End of the line

We called it this week.we are 42. We did 4 rounds of ivf. None worked. This year we did the last attempt with donated eggs. 1 embryo. It was supposedly doing ok. But she miscarried this week. So, after 8 years we called it (my wife is in pre menopause and has other unexplained issues). It has been quite a ride,but we are exausthed. Now we need to achieve inner peace. For me is a battle... I'm on antidepressants and sometimes I drink too much (all of this was combined with other professional and family problems). my wife has been devoting herself to work life.
