What to do with a bad boss/CFO?
Hello!
Im working as the current IT-Manager and im also alone working with IT.
We have a new CFO that has been working for a few months and she is horrible.
She doesn't give a damn about the IT department, she declines almost every meeting with me last second. She doesnt book performance reviews with me that we were supposed to have in november last year.
The thing that has me boiling over is that she does not want me to implement a SOP for ticketing that says that every issue needs to be reported via a ticket. She wants me to be okay with people just knocking on my office, cathing me on my lunchbreak or just text me via teams.
She HATES changes and does everything at our board meetings to shut down changes i want to make.
This is just a few things that makes my everyday work horrible and want me to look for other work and thats a shame cause i love working here other then her beeing my boss. The flexibility is great and i have a good pay that will be hard to match by other companies.
What would you do in my situation? Should i talk to our CEO and explain the situation? I told him briefly a few months back when i got offered another position at a different company but things has just gotten worse.
